Job description

During your two years of training as a machine and plant operator, we will turn you into an expert in industrial installations. You will learn the basics of metalworking and the use of machine tools and become familiar with the various production departments for spring manufacturing. You will also learn how to set up and program CNC spring winding machines. Your other responsibilities will include eliminating sources of error, assessing surface and heat treatment conditions for wires and springs, and measuring and testing tools and production parts.

Requirements

The requirement for training as a machine and plant operator is a qualified secondary level certificate. We also expect good levels of craftsmanship and a good spatial imagination, as well as a keen interest in technology.

Job description

You want to become an expert in industrial production systems, spring winding machines or stamping and bending machines? In our maintenance and repair of these systems, or in building your own equipment? Or are you more interested in the design and manufacture of tools for our machinery? Then why not acquire the necessary skills and knowledge as part of our three and a half year course of training as an industrial mechanic. The course covers the manual processing and machining of materials, the manufacture of tools, the creation of CNC programs for setting up the machines, and measuring and testing of tools and production parts. You will also attend external courses on pneumatics, CNC technology and welding.

Requirements

The requirement for training as an industrial mechanic is a qualified secondary level certificate and vocational training in metalworking. We place particular emphasis on the subjects of German, English and engineering. We also expect good levels of craftsmanship, independence and accuracy and a good spatial imagination.
